Are there fees for paying your credit card bill online?
My credit card company has an option for free bill payments but my bank says they charge for online bill payment. Are there any fees that would apply since I am not using my bank's online services but am paying through the credit card company's site?

When you make your credit card payment through the credit card company's website, the credit card company will not charge you a fee UNLESS you make an express payment. An express payment is one that generally posts to your account within 24 hours of you clicking the button. The only reason you would want to do an express payment and pay the fee (generally around $15) is to avoid the late payment fee (generally around $35-40). If you make a normal payment, it will take 2-3 days to process.

Some credit card companies may charge. It's becoming more common.
But why would you not use your bank's online billpay to pay all your bills? You can schedule all your payments, even set up automatic recurring payments, yet still have control to change them up to the day or two deadline.
I've never understood why people would go to this and that creditor's sites to pay where you have no control or papertrail.
